The Frame Continues Taking Shape

Structural steel installation will continue for the next several weeks as more materials arrive. Columns, trusses and catwalks are being erected. Also, new HVAC equipment is being installed in the existing Wilmot mechanical room and should be completed in late July.

The steel trusses weigh 8,000 pounds each.

Structural Steel Deliveries Begin

Over the next several weeks, multiple deliveries of steel are arriving. At times, this work may disrupt use of Lot A for parking. Look for more details about parking in future updates.

Load-bearing Walls Completed

Photos this week show the structural masonry load-bearing walls being completed.

Everything is on schedule to start the structural steel around June 1.

We will soon be constructing the pathways to bring power and fiber to the building.  The area in the lawn north of the art studios will see increased construction activity as we tie into the existing utilities near Smyth.
